Natural Family Planning International teaches the Kippley/Prem Sympto-Thermal Method which is based on a systematic awareness of a woman’s fertility. Couples will learn to interpret specific signs in a woman’s body that indicate the infertile and fertile phases of her cycle.

It’s easy to do! With the scientifically proven Sympto-Thermal Method, it takes just a minute in the morning for the woman to take her waking temperature, plus a minute or two throughout the day for her to observe her cervical mucus. By charting these signs, the two of you have a complete cross-checking picture of your fertility that you can use to postpone pregnancy or to achieve pregnancy. You will also learn about ecological breastfeeding which can extend a woman's natural infertility following childbirth.
